There are two JACKSONs included in these records:
1. William
JACKSON of St. Nicholas Within the Walls NOTE:
This is close to where so many of the JACKSON connected to the linen trade were
clustered.
2. John
JACKSON of Blind Quay. NOTE: Towards the middle of the sixteenth century, the fortunes
of the Blind Quay began to fall and the area was frequented by people of ill –
repute. This led, in 1776, to its name being
changed to Exchange Street. SEE: A
