These JACKSONs of Killyman, Co. Armagh are not "my JACKSONs" - at least as far as I know, but I am curious about migrations of early JACKSONs in Ireland. I am sharing this in the hopes that we can all learn more. NOTE: This page was made possible thanks to transcriptions by Peter McWilliam.

Jackson of Killyman Parish
The
Parish of Killyman is on the northern border of the parish of Loughgall, another
parish that also has a long history of JACKSONs residing there. Killyman straddles
two counties. It is on the eastern boundary of Co. Tyrone and extends into
the northerly part of Co. Armagh. The six townlands that are in Co. Armagh are
on the eastern side of the River Blackwater. St. Andrews COI is just beneath
the M1 motorway, and is about 2.5 miles south of Dunganon.
Baptisms of JACKSONs NOTE: I
have used shading to highlight family groupings.
