I have no idea where this branch of OLIVERs
fits in although Eliza OLIVER, mother
of Sir Thomas JACKSON was married at this church. Both of her
parents were already dead by then, so she would have
been staying with relatives although I suspect that they were BRADFORDs and McCULLAGHs not OLIVERs.

NOTE: Samuel OLIVER (1843-1917)
lived at Ardaghy, Co. Monaghan and worked as a tailor with his brothers.
He was a Precentor at Cahans Presbyterian Church for 49 years. His
wife was Ann MEHAFFEY. The name MEHAFFEY shows up in flax records in
1766. They had at least 3 sons: John, William and James Samuel
and one daughter, Sarah Ann Mehaffy OLIVER.
