NOTE: This page started in 2013 with entries from the index of Marriage Licence Bonds. Initially, it was only in book form in the Pearce Library in Dublin but is now available on line at various sites. Wherever you see MLB, that means that it originated from the work done by Roz McCutcheon’s at Irish Ancestors. There are many more names to be integrated into this chart, and they will get added when I can get to them.
Update: March 16, 2019 - Added some records from the Ffoliot Collection 1756-1850

Update: March 17. 2020

Update:Highlighted records were added in 2020-2023

Update August 9, 2024.1804 & 1811 info on Miles JACKSON & Constance WALLER added
PS For those who are able to get to Dublin, the Pearce Library is a comfortable place to browse these kinds of records.

This is unlikely to be Francis JACKSON (b 1632) in the Coleraine line (he was a clergyman - not a clothier). NOTE: This Francis is likely related to those at JACKSONs of St. Catherines Church.

If this is the case, then they would also likely connect to Robert JACKSON, tanner of Crooked Staff:

It is curious that this deed should precede this marriage date by more than 50 years. Probably the 1779 marriage is of descendants of these families mentioned beneath:

ROD 30-455-19132

1721 Sept 22 John JACKSON of City of Dublin, Linnen Draper & Ann HUMPHRYS also JACKSON his wife for £15 ster from Elias HUMPHRY grant Elias HUMPHRY their rights & portions of house "court of Guard" nr Young's Castle in Oxmantown for remaining years.
Grantors in 1695 Oct 18 included: William WATT Esq. Rt. Hon Lord Mayor of Dublin ;Andrew BRICE Esq. Sherriff of Dublin; William STOWELL, Sherriff of Dublin; & citizens of Dublin unto Ellis HUMPHRY, smith of Dublin city; died abt 1707 intestate – also father of Elias HUMPHRY & Ann HUMPHRY  of house "court of Quard [sic Guard]" nr Young's Castle in Oxmantown formerly in lease to Alderman Daniel BETTINGHAM  and afterwards Sir Daniel BETTINGHAM  and lately surrendered to the treasurer of Dublin by Richard BETTINGHAM, son & heir of Sir Daniel BETTINGHAM, 66x20 ft for 61 years at £7;  that John JACKSON became intitled to 1/5 share; that John JACKSON became entitled to 1/4th share including 3 houses built in possess'n of Thomas JONAS. Deputy Registrar: William PARRY; Witnesses: James SOMERWELL, Gent of Dublin City; Steevens STEEVENS, Gent of Bony Batter, Dublin; Mary [COSION?]

JACKSON, Ann & Robert Chambre CORKER ,

1780

M.L.

I suspect that the marriage settlement is in: Deed: 335-127-222781. The two families were already connected in 1767:

ROD: 266-57-167863  1767 May 20. CORKER-JACKSON for consids, Rev. Chambre CORKER to Mary JACKSON, widow, relict and sole executrix of Rev. William JACKSON late of  Lota in North liberties of Cork city; dec'd, [grantee 1765 Nov 14] of yearly annuity of £14 for 29 years if she should live so long, out of the lease from John WALWEY [John GALWEY?] Esq. [grantor 1765 Nov 14]  to William JACKSON of dwelling house gardens & demesne lands of Lota [81 Engl Statute acres] then in tenancy and occupancy of Richard BRADSHAW for 31 years from 1 May then last past at £160. WITNESSES: Ruby PATHETT, clerk to Michael McCARTHY; Michael McCARTHY, publican.
SEE: Mr. Robert Croker of the Custom House to Miss JACKSON of Co. Meath. 18 Feb 1780 Dublin Hiberian Journal.

NOTE: I suspect that the reference was to Rev. William JACKSON (1713-1767) of Rocksavage, Co. Cork. His wife was Mary NASH.
