George PHILIPS[15], Vicar of Rathcoole, and intended groom and with consent of George PHILIPS, Jane JACKSON unto Daniel JACKSON Rev. Clke of Tullamore, trustee & Francis EVANS, Esq of Dublin City, trustee of her 1/2 undivided part of Markhell orse Marahill[16]]+ Domlloman orse Drumlomman[17]  in Co Cavan, plus her entitlement under will of Ann ROBINSON[18] deceased of Dublin City on death of John JACKSON[19] late of Clonsagh, Dublin deceased without male issue, to hold upon several trusts. WITNESSES: Frances JACKSON[20], spinster of Dublin City & Hugh NEIL[21], Gent of Dublin.

[1] Anne ROBINSON nee JACKSON (?-abt 1749) daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729). I suspect that the mother of Anne CASTELTON was an Avis BRERETON.

[2] John JACKSON (1712-1787). He married a Cordelia CASTELTOWN. Jonathon SWIFT mentions that he had 2 sons and many daughters. None seemed to have survived him.

[3] Rev. Daniel JACKSON  (1687-1772) was her uncle, and although I have no record of a son for him, it is not unlikely that if there were a son that both the name “Daniel” and the profession of missionary would be a fit..

[4] James GRATTAN. A James GRATTAN, brother of Henry GRATTAN was a grandson of John JACKSON (1604-1691) and Anne HOLT. The links between JACKSONs and GRATTANs are complex, with BRERETON being a link when Rev. Daniel JACKSON (1651-1706) married Jane BRERETON. There is also a Dr. James GRATTAN b 1673 in Dublin, son of Patrick GRATTAN (abt 1648-?) and Grizell BRERETON (1648-1725). NOTE: This is still a muddle.

[5] Jane JACKSON (?- aft 177) wife of rev. George PHILLIPS (1703-1790) was a daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729).

[6] Frances JACKSON daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729), .married a DICKSON.

[7] Francis EVANS attorney.

[8] Drumloren aka Drumloman, parish of Crosserlough in Co Cavan,

[9] Markhill. NOTE: There are three townlands named Marahill – parishes: Kilmore, Enniskeen, and Balintemple Co Cavan.

[10] Catherine GUNNING, spinster of Dublin.

[11] Robert ROBINSON – likely a close relation, possibly even her husband or son.

[12] Peter SHEE, Dublin Merchant. NOTE: A possible variant spelling may be SHEA.

[13] Jane JACKSON NOTE: It is likely in error, and I will revisit it, but at present I have her in the family tree as the daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729).

[14] Ann ROBINSON née JACKSON

[15] Rev. George PHILIPS (1703-1790

[16] Markhell orse Marahill  NOTE: There are three townlands named Marahill – parishes: Kilmore, Enniskeen, and Balintemple Co Cavan.

[17] Domlloman orse Drumlomman aka Drumloman, parish of Crosserlough in Co Cavan,

[18] Anne ROBINSON nee JACKSON (?-abt 1749) daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729). I suspect that the mother of Anne CASTELTON was an Avis BRERETON.

[19] John JACKSON (17812-1787)

[20] Frances JACKSON daughter of Rev. John JACKSON (1688-1751) & Anne CASTLETON (?-1729), .married a DICKSON.
