NOTE: I have two wives for Richard GORE of Sandymount: Elizabeth AKERMAN
& Martha FIOTT. I did not have an Anne. The
Baronetage and knightage by James Foster has a Richard GORE of Seaview as a son of
Richard GORE and Gertrude HYDE. This Richard GORE was a husband of an Anne GORE
daughter of William GORE and Dorothy MANLEY
NOTE: [Capt.] Robert GORE of Seaview is mentioned in Satirist:
or Monthly Meteor. He shot a man during a duel who died, was later
charged with murder and then acquitted: Gunfight
at Cookstown Corral.
