Thomas JACKSON lease Email May 27, 2013. I just heard from someone reared in the townland of Moynehall, on the south west border of Gortnakesh. There was a shop and pub there run by a Connell family. The pub is still there but different owners. There was also a well opposite the pub but this has now disappeared since they built a housing estate directly across from the pub. ... the main Cavan/Ballinagh road went past it but I think about 1960 it was changed to its current layout. Up to recently the Cavan/Ballyjamesduff road used to run past the pub. NOTE: The fact of both a road and a well is interesting.
